Madjeen Isaac is a Brooklyn based Haitian-American artist whose practice is rooted in home, communality and land stewardship. Growing up in a predominantly Caribbean neighborhood and being a first generation American influences her process of reimagining landscapes, incorporating elements of her hometown Brooklyn and ancestral homeland Haiti.
This month our spotlight organization is New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, who build, maintain, and protect public trails. You have the option to donate to the NY-NJ Trail Conference when registering to attend any of our New York events in May.
