Book Swap Sunday
We already know good books and Hikerkind gear make the best travel companions, but do you have a backpack to put them in? Sunday October 22nd at 11:00 am join your Brooklyn community with a book to share and swap, and celebrate our partnership with Gregory Mountain Products. Everyone in attendance will be entered to receive a Gregory Juno 24 Day Pack! After our land acknowledgment and introductions, we’ll learn more about you and the book you brought. From 11:45 am to 12:30 pm, meet fellow readers, sip on brunch bevs, and by 12:30 pm, you’ll have an extensive new reading list. At 12:45 pm we draw the winner. This hike’s spotlight organization is Women’s Wilderness, which supports girls, women and LGBTQ+ people in accessing their power and improving their health through connections to the outdoors and community. You have the option to donate to Women’s Wilderness when registering to attend this event.
Gregory Mountain Product prize is subject to availability of size and color; all those in attendance must be registered on acuity and arrive before the drawing to be entered.
