This is an awesome piece. I'm not sure I understand how it can be so light and still be so insulating but it is both. I am absolutely in love with it and looking forward to wearing it.
Been wanting a piece made of Alpha Direct for a while but most companies are making pieces that are more geared/designed for men. I’m so glad I waited! The silhouette is very flattering, the hood is a great shape and I love the cross body construction. The double layers across the torso keep the core warm. I am a person who runs cold and always seems to need a little layer, this is the ULTIMATE light layer! Warm without being overly hot! Breathable without letting all the warmth go. Got caught in a rain in it already, it dried quickly while still keeping me warm. Truly, dream piece for on the trail & around town. I’m so in love I think I might need it in both colors!
This just arrived and my normal size (medium) fits great. I haven't tried it on the trail yet, but wanted others to be aware that Woad is a dark navy blue, not black as it appeared online to me. I'm totally fine with this, but it is an important detail.
