Shipping

All orders are usually processed within 1 to 4 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped with tracking details. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Hikerkind offers FREE shipping on all orders over $200 within the U.S. We offer Ground, Express and Next Day shipping methods at the responsibility of the customer. Express and Next Day orders must be placed by 12 PM EST. 

Please note once an order leaves our warehouse, there may be carrier delays that are outside of our control. Additionally, we are not able to make address changes after an order is placed, so please be sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.

International Shipping

Hikerkind now offers international shipping!

For calculated shipping rates: To create a better delivery experience for you, we ship all international orders Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). By shipping DDP, duties and taxes are collected directly at checkout so that your package is not stopped and held by customs.

Duties and taxes are dynamically calculated depending on various factors: country destination, weight, dimensions, and order total. These are not fees that go to us or that we have control over. There may be additional fees for certain countries depending on certain factors. This fee is set by their respective governments and is subject to additional inspections that may lead to longer transit times. Please note duties and taxes are non-refundable even in the event of a return.

Unfortunately we can not offer free shipping for international orders. All shipping, customs and insurance costs are non-refundable, and are at the expense of the customer.

Order Status

We want you to receive your order as fast as possible! 

We try our best to ship everything at once but, please keep in mind that your pieces will ship as they become available. This means you might receive multiple packages. 

Domestic orders are typically delivered within 5-7 business days once the order has been fulfilled. When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at shop@hikerkind.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

International orders are typically delivered within 8 -14 business days once the order has been fulfilled. Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive an email from us with your tracking information. You can track the progress of your order directly on your Hikerkind tracking page.
If your package stops moving at any point, do not fret! It is still on its way to you and is likely just clearing customs. Occasionally, there may be delays due to customs or weather events. If this happens, your tracking page will be updated with the latest shipping status.

 

Damages and Issues

We offer Route Package Protection to safeguard your order in the event that it is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Route Package Protection is automatically applied to your order at checkout, but it is always 100% your choice and easy to opt-out of. To opt-out, simply switch the toggle in cart or at checkout. 

Please note that if you opt out of Route Package Protection, Hikerkind is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or stolen during transit. If you did purchase Route Package Protection and your package encounters any issues in transit, please visit Route's Portal to file a claim.

Inspect your order upon receipt. In the event that your gear arrives defective or if you receive the wrong item, please email us as soon as possible at shop@hikerkind.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to evaluate the issue and make it right.

The Edie's are made from vintage scarves and you should expect some variance and levels of wear. They are sold as is. The Edie, Scrap Scrunchie 01, and Trail Cap 01 are final sale.

Post Purchase Adjustments

Due to system limitations we are unable to make any order edits after an order is placed. This is in an effort to improve efficiency and fulfillment flows and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, you can return any unwanted items once they are delivered. Please refer to our Return Policy for eligibility and note that tags must still be attached and items in unworn condition.

It is the customer's responsibility to make sure they input the correct address at checkout. If you need to update your shipping address please immediately reach out to our support team at shop@hikerkind.com. Since our orders are fulfilled quickly we cannot guarantee a change will be possible. Once an order is fulfilled and the shipping label has been printed we are not able to update the shipping information, the order will be shipped to the original shipping address input at the time of checkout. If you have opted out of Route Protection Hikerkind is not liable for any packages that are not received or lost due to a shipping address input error.

If you need assistance with this, please contact us at shop@hikerkind.com and we'll get back to you during regular business hours. We highly recommend getting a receipt when dropping off your return in case the package is lost in transit en route back to us.

Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, please immediately reach out to our support team at shop@hikerkind.com. We cannot guarantee cancellation will be possible as once it is in a certain fulfillment status this is no longer an option. If a cancellation is not possible we are happy to help with a return or exchange!
