8 Pocket Shorts 01

I am usually not a shorts wearer but I really like my 8 pocket pants so thought I’d give the shorts a try. I followed the sizing advice and went up a size from my long pants from a L to XL. The L shorts fit everywhere, although slimmer than the long pants, however the rise was too short and uncomfortable so I went with the XL. They a loose and comfy if not a bit big in the waist but that’s okay with me. I purchased the Garnet color expecting a reddish color as to me, the photo online looks sort of reddish brown and garnets are reddish! These shorts are brown and that’s fine, just not garnet. 😊

I love these shorts! Hikerkind hit it out of the park again with another highly functional and highly flattering piece. I am 5’2 and around 110 lbs and chose the small for a comfortable fit.

I love the shorts. I got tired of always finding woman’s short as TOO short. The material is great and I supper appreciate many pockets. Zippered pockets on both side are also a huge add value. I did end up ordering a second set one size up. So, now I have them in Large and Xtra Large. Im hoping they will be just a bit longer. All I need now is more color choices.

Every item of clothing should come with pockets, and I bought these shorts because they have 8 pockets! There are 2 on the front that are zip-ups - which are really convenient so you don't waste time fumbling around trying to remember which pocket something was put in. I usually wear a M but sized up to L after reading the other reviews. My only wish is that these shorts came in more different (brighter) colors, like red, pink, green, orange....

These shorts have quickly become a staple in my trail kit! The pockets are SO good (I never knew I could appreciate so many). They're so great for keeping essentials close without feeling weighed down!I wore these shorts on a thru-hike + I was so impressed with how lightweight and breathable they are. Even on long days, they stayed so comfy, and the bit of stretch in the waist + the leg made *all* the difference. the colour is also amazing - the garnet is goes so well with lots of other colours.These shorts have become my go-to Spring/Summer. Functional, comfortable, and super pretty - everything I’ve come to love from Hikerkind :)For ref, I got a size small (I'm usually a UK 8 or 26/27 inch waist).
